SA artiste Babes Wodumo calls out Mango Airlines after her team’s belongings got missing after their flight.

Babes took to her social media account to re-share a post written by Hlengiwe Mbambo claiming that her team’s belongings were allegedly missing after travelling with Mango Airlines.

According to the queen of gqom, after a flight with her team to Cape Town, they realised that some of their bags were opened and a few of their items were missing while fetching their bags from the counter.

She also revealed that the airline allegedly refused to assist them or even pay for their lost items.

The singer shared a screenshot of Hlengiwe’s post and then added that she was disappointed in the caption.

“Mango SA, what a disappointment, my dancers clothes were stolen from their bags today while travelling with @FlyMangoSA to CPT – some bags came back half open and the airline refuses to help or pay. This is proper theft,” she wrote

According to a publication, spokesperson of Mango Airlines Sergio Dos Santos said,

“Firstly, Mango Airlines would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to Ms Simelane. We are aware of the incident and offered compensation for the lost items in accordance with our terms and conditions. We are, however, investigating the matter and will have more information once it is concluded.”
